This policy explains how Yellow Cart Family Store LLC (“we”, “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, handles personal data on ycfdigital.tech. We are the controller of the data described here. Our services are aimed at the United States.

The Shopify app we operate under the /fullcontentseo path has its own privacy policy, required by the Shopify Partner terms; this page does not cover the app.

1. Data we collect and why

No third-party tracking. This site does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel or any other third-party measurement or advertising tag. We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Visit counting (first-party). Our own server records page views in our own database so we can see how many people visit and which channels they come from. A record contains: the time, the page path, the type of device (phone, tablet or desktop), the referring site’s domain only (for example google.com, never the full address), a coarse location (country and state or region) derived from the IP address, your consent state, and — only if measurement is on — the random visitor ID from the yc_sid cookie. We do not store your IP address, your full user-agent string or the query string of the URL. Automated traffic (bots, crawlers, previews) is counted separately as daily totals only.
Interaction events. When you open or confirm the WhatsApp dialog, or click a demo/contact button on a product, we record that event (type, which button or product, time) under the same rules as page views.
Contact requests. See section 3.
Server logs. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) for security and troubleshooting. They are kept for up to 30 days and are not used for analytics.

2. Cookies and how to turn measurement off

Measurement is on by default, and you can reject it at any time. When you first visit, a banner explains this and offers equal “Accept” and “Reject” buttons.

If you click “Reject”, the yc_sid cookie is deleted and not set again, and your choice is remembered for 12 months. We still count the request on our server, but without writing anything to your device, without storing your IP address or full user-agent, and with the referrer’s domain only — so the visit cannot be linked to other visits.

Retention: visit and event records are kept for at most 25 months and then deleted.

3. Contact form, WhatsApp, email and phone

When you send the contact form we receive your name, email, company (optional), project type and message, plus the country (and state or region) derived from your IP address at the time of sending. We use this only to reply to you and to follow up on your request. It is stored in our database and sent to our team by email, and kept for 24 months after your last message unless you become a client (then our contract and tax-record obligations apply). Your IP address is used briefly in memory to limit abuse and is not stored with your request.

Spam protection: the form uses ALTCHA, a proof-of-work check that runs in your browser. It involves no third party, sets no cookies and does not track you.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation is also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy. Nothing is sent until you confirm and press send in WhatsApp. Email and phone conversations are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

4. Legal bases

Legitimate interest — first-party visit counting (which you can reject), security and server logs.
Your request / pre-contract steps — replying to contact requests.
Contract — delivering services if you become a client.
Legal obligation — tax and accounting records.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider and is accessible only to our team, protected with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and two-factor authentication for our admin panel. Our engineering team works from Türkiye, so data may be accessed from outside the United States. Email notifications pass through our email provider.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, or the GDPR), you may have the right to:

know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
correct inaccurate data;
delete your data;
object to or restrict processing, including visit counting (see section 2);
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
not be discriminated against for exercising these rights;
complain to your local data protection or consumer protection authority.

We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise a right, email info@ycfdigital.tech. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity.

7. Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
